Welcome to Tae Kwon Do Monthly

By the early 60’s the sport had made its way over to America with the returning American soldiers.

By 1988 the sport was accepted into the Olympics and was demonstrated at Seoul and again in Barcelona in 1992. By 2000 it was an official event and a medal sport at the Sydney Olympics. The only other Olympic Medal Asian martial art is Judo.
